Day 139: Hunting caribou

This morning when the kids went out to play, they pretended to be Inuit, hunting either a bear or a caribou (which was in both cases the dog).  Papa watched them out the window, and said it was hilarious watching them chase her with their stick ‘weapons,’ trying to be tactical, and that the dog was clearly overjoyed to be chased so enthusiastically.

They came in, ate more pancakes, and then Boy got back to working on his cathedral model. I had another party to go to this morning/afternoon (a pop-up boutique sale at a friend’s), but Papa said the kids played really well while I was gone.

Boy finished his cathedral this afternoon, and Girl played with her Calico Critters. She even had them talk to her Nana and Poppy on the phone.
